About us
Nikolay Moiseev has been working over 20 years in design, development and testing of space suits. While working at Zvezda (Russian space suit Company) he has developed 6 suit prototypes till 2006:
- SK-2000 (1993)
- EVA-2000 (1994)
- Orlan-M (for Mir space station 1997)
- Orlan-MK (ISS, 2005)
- Orlan-MKS (ISS, 2006)
- Planetary exploration suit (2001-2005)
Nik developed 10 modifications of gloves for EVA and IVA suits at Zvezda for Russian Space Program in 1986-2006; and 7 types of gloves for Astronaut Glove Challenges and for commercial space suits (2006-current time).
Ted Southern is an artist living and working in New York City. His creations center around the human body, movement and science.
Ted works as a costume executor and craftsman with a variety of specialties, from mechanics, armatures and electricity to fine woodworking and welding.
He is currently in a residency at Eyebeam Atelier, an art-technology forum, developing a full body space suit.
